I don't know how it works, but it's really always cold. Our dog lies on it with pleasure.
It's light and nice.
The mat is small, but the cat fits on it. I don't know how the cooling works in it and I don't know if the cat will lie on it in the heat (the weather will tell), but so far everything is fine.
